Please note, most of our dog-friendly recommendations include patios that allow pets, and are seasonal and subject to weather.

Global Brew Tap House

Global Brew Tap House in St. Charles is a recommendation from Manager, Ali! Looking for a fun spot to check out for Happy Hour or a weekend outing, Global Brew has a jam-packed schedule of weekly live music and trivia! Their patio area welcomes 4-legged friends during the warmer months. With a stacked menu of 200+ craft beers, a full bar, and delicious bites such as gourmet grilled cheeses, wings, pizza, and more, we’re positive you and your pup will have a paw-tastic time!

Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is a local recommendation from one of our walkers, Delanie. The name says it all! Whether your dog is looking for a lazy and relaxing day on the patio while you enjoy good eats and refreshing drinks, or a high energy pup looking to socialize with other humans and pups, Lazy Dog is the paw-fect spot! With locations in Buffalo Grove, Northbrook, Oak Brook, Vernon Hills, and Naperville, it’s sure to get your tail waggin’. You can even treat your dog (they deserve it) to its very own meal from the dog menu! Their dog menu consists of chicken or beef meals with rice and veggies. Talk about spoiled!

Coroco Coffee

Want to start off your day with a delicious cup of coffee, or need an afternoon pick-me-up? Manager Ali recommends Coroco, a coffee shop in St. Charles that welcomes your pup-puccino on its outdoor patio. Pair your cup of joe with one of their delicious oatmeals or baked goods such as croissants, quiche, muffins, etc. They even have gluten-free options! Don’t forget the pup cup!

The Filling Station Pub & Grill

The Filling Station Pub & Grill in St. Charles is another local favorite for a unique and quirky spot to enjoy a bite to eat and refreshing beverage on the patio with your 4-legged dinner date! We love this spot for their support of local pet rescues. Check them out for weekly bingo, although you may want to rope in a bingo partner that knows more than just about which dog treats are the tastiest!

Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden

Team member Deanna recommends that you head out to Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden in Batavia from Mid May until the end of September for a dog-friendly evening of live music, local beer, and made from scratch menu items! Their burgers, sandwiches, and more are sure to get your (and your pup's) mouth watering! Please note - this is an ideal spot for a highly sociable dog who does not mind loud noises and being around other people and pets. If you have a dog that loves to paw-ty, Sidecar is a must! This establishment is 21+.

Crosstown Pub & Grill

Crosstown Pub & Grill is another dog friendly spot in Batavia and Naperville recommended by team member Deanna. Their dog friendly patio welcomes guests to bring well-behaved dogs on leash to join a casual lunch or dinner. Stop by for a bite of their famous wings, or grab something different from their well-stacked menu. Pop by on a Friday or Saturday for some live music and great community! The staff are even known to be dog lovers and are happy to bring your pup a water bowl.

A few more dog-friendly restaurant recommendations from the team that you should definitely get your paws on include Preservation, The Burger Local, Graham’s, Niche, Atlas Chicken Shack, Barrel + Rye.
