OPERATIONS MANAGER

I became a pet sitter in 2018, and have since dedicated my time to caring for your furry family members. Growing up surrounded by animals and participating in 4-H and barrel racing, I found my true passion for pet care after finishing school and moving to the Naperville area.

I’ve always found a sense of comfort in Naperville, and am happy to now call it home. My husband and I have our own little zoo of three pups, two cats, a ball python and a toddler! I don’t have a favorite breed, but I absolutely love working with quirky and special needs animals!

ASSISTANT MANAGER

I’ve been with the company since 2014 — and the assistant manager since 2022 — and have enjoyed every minute of it! I grew up in the Lombard area and continue to enjoy walking and caring for pets all around the surrounding towns.

Meeting and getting to know new pups has always been my favorite part of the position, as well as spending time outdoors exercising them. I have a senior dog of my own, a Jack Russell mix, plus three cats. Outside of the pet world, I also enjoy cooking and crocheting. I love being a part of the awesome, caring team in Wheaton and look forward to being a part of it for years to come!

Before kids, I worked as a CPA in both public and private accounting. I left the corporate world to raise my daughters and care for aging parents. Stepping back into the workforce, I wanted something fun and interesting that would work with my schedule — and I found pet care, joining the team in 2018. Who wouldn’t want to spend their days visiting some of the coolest pets around?

I’m currently sharing my house with Stephan (my husband), Lucy (a five-pound chihuahua) and Mika (a 100-pound German Shepherd husky mix). My two daughters are away at college and one of them took our horse, Hermès, with her too!

WEEKEND WALKER

I am 29 years old and have lived in the Fox Valley area my entire life. I grew up with four Great Danes and loved helping care for them, which sparked my lifelong love of animals. I currently care for a 7-year-old cat named Nala and a 3-year-old rabbit named Rosie.
For the past six years, I worked in Special Education as a behavioral technician and vocational coach. I'm excited to be joining the team at Fur Armor as the Weekend Manager and look forward to supporting our employees while helping provide the best possible care for all the wonderful animals we serve!

Not only do they undergo in-person training, but they must also complete our specialized Pet Pro online training program. (Read more in the Team section of our FAQs!)
