OPERATIONS MANAGER

I grew up in Geneva and have no plans of leaving — I love this community! I always knew I was meant to work with animals, and now I’m proud to work at what I truly believe is the best dog walking and pet sitting business in the area.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve helped families build stronger bonds with their pets through dog walking, pet sitting, working in vet clinics and animal shelters, managing my own business and becoming a professional dog trainer.

I hold an associate’s degree and am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, American Kennel Club and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. I have a Moyen Poodle named Lollipop, who’s practically glued to my side any time I’m not out caring for our wonderful clients’ pets.

Currently living in the Downers Grove area, I’ve grown up with my rescue beagle Otis since 2015 and learned so much about caring for animals. I’ve since extended that care to pets of my friends, family and even coworkers! It always brings me joy to meet new animals and get the chance to grow closer to them.

I spend a lot of my free time sharing my love for music with friends and love to go to concerts.

LEAD WALKER

Before kids, I worked as a CPA in both public and private accounting. I left the corporate world to raise my daughters and care for aging parents. Stepping back into the workforce, I wanted something fun and interesting that would work with my schedule — and I found pet care, joining the team in 2018. Who wouldn’t want to spend their days visiting some of the coolest pets around?

I’m currently sharing my house with Stephan (my husband), Lucy (a five-pound chihuahua) and Mika (a 100-pound German Shepherd husky mix). My two daughters are away at college and one of them took our horse, Hermès, with her too!

Not only do they undergo in-person training, but they must also complete our specialized Pet Pro online training program. (Read more in the Team section of our FAQs!)

Originally from Texas, I joined the team in 2024 and have loved every moment! Caring for animals has always been a passion and brings me joy, and before FurAmor, I worked at doggy daycares, shelters and restaurants. At home, I have three dogs who keep me on my toes.
