Looking for the perfect spot to grab a coffee or a bite to eat without leaving your pup at home? More restaurants are opening up their patios and outdoor spaces to four-legged guests. Whether you're looking for a happening happy hour, a cozy dinner spot, or a quick brunch with coffee, we've got just what you're looking for! Our team of dog walkers put together a list of their favorite spots for you and your pup to enjoy a nice patio outing. Check them out below!

Blue Sushi

Craving sushi, but don’t want to leave your 4-legged soulmate at home? Or should we say.. Soymate? Besides, there’s no better dinner date than your pup. Blue sushi, located downtown right along the Naperville riverwalk, has a pet friendly patio! Blue sushi is a favorite of our manager, Stephanie! The patio is not entirely shaded, so it may be best to roll over to Blue Sushi for dinner as the sun is setting or lunch time during the fall or spring months!

Quigley's Irish Pub

Looking for a night out to the pub with your 4-legged bestie? Our manager Stephanie recommends Quigley’s Irish Pub for delicious eats such as fish & chips, hearty sandwiches, or mouth-watering wings! Bring your pup as your lucky charm for a fun night on their dog-friendly patio! Check out their events menu for a live music and quiz night schedule!

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is a local recommendation from one of our walkers, Delanie. The name says it all! Whether your dog is looking for a lazy and relaxing day on the patio while you enjoy good eats and refreshing drinks, or a high energy pup looking to socialize with other humans and pups, Lazy Dog is the paw-fect spot! With locations in Buffalo Grove, Northbrook, Oak Brook, Vernon Hills, Naperville it’s sure to get your tail waggin’. You can even treat your dog (they deserve it) to its very own meal from their dog menu! Their dog menu consists of chicken or beef meals with rice and veggies. Talk about spoiled!

Now that you’ve got a few personal recommendations from our team, here are some other dog friendly spots in Naperville that are sure to get your tail waggin’!

  • Empire Burgers & Brew

Empire offers a spacious patio where pups are welcome to lounge while you enjoy a craft beer and a gourmet burger. Water bowls are usually on hand, and staff often stop by to say hello to your furry companion.

  • Solemn Oath Brewery

This dog-friendly brewery doesn’t serve food, but you can bring your own or grab bites from a visiting food truck. Dogs are allowed both inside and outside, and the laid-back vibe is ideal for social pups.

  • Peet’s Coffee (Downtown Naperville)

For a morning caffeine fix with your pup, Peet’s has a dog-friendly patio and lots of nearby walking options post-sip.
